I loved both the Word cloud and Image Chef.  We do a lot of webs for interactive writing in my classroom.  I think either one of these programs can be used as a visual of the writing that we do in class!  I also think its a great tool for brainstorming words for a story  or a poem; it allows the students to experience words in a different way and see them form different shapes.  In a second grade classroom, I observed the children writing shape poems.  I think ImageChef would be a great extension for that particular project.  I got carried away with all of them and lost track of time!  Ooops!
